Zorro up'd some pics and this one shows the guy heatwrapped his headers, any noticable gain from doing that? Bad Idea? Any input is appreciated, thanks!

By heat wrapping the exhaust it does two things. The first is to keep the heat out of the engine bay. The second is by keeping the heat inside the header it increases the velocity of the gas and therefore maximizes your exhaust. It is also a way to protect headers that are neither painted/coated or chromed. The same came be accomplished by useing certain thermal coating techniques.
