Default Heat shield on Fuel filter????

It seems Hyundai made another design change between Gen1 and gen2. The gen2's appear to have a heat shield or debris shield on the fuel filters.....

Does anyone with a Gen1 have this sheild over their fuel filter?

97, 1.8L, rev-A, and I had the heat/debris shield until I changed my fuel filter. I left it off, because I forgot to snap it on before I attached the filter (and I wasn't about to go through that again)

I thought all the 2.0 beta installations had the heat shield, all the 99/00 elantras seem to have it.
