Default Headers on stock exhaust

About to get my tax return and I really want to get the 4-2-1 headers for my 2k1 tib. The only thing holding me back is the thought of having to do my entire exhaust system. I don't think I'm going to have enough to do my full exhaust right now, but is it going to fit right? Do I have to, should I wait till I have enough to do the complete exhaust?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys!

Doind your whole exhaust with the headers would be a plus but you don't have to the headers will improve your performance even without the whole exhaust upgrade but I would suggest getting it done sometime down the road. As far as it fitting it will you just might have to drill a hole in the headers if you have 2 sensors in your manifold that's all so I would go for it.

I assume I have the second sensor and will have to drill, thats not a problem, I don't think they'll charge much for that. i also want to keep it fairly quiet (hehe, not too quiet!) and reading through previous posts unless I get like 2 or 3 glasspacks, sticking with stock exhaust would be sufficient. Cool! I think this is what I'm going to do. It was really a toss up between lowering and headers, but I'm really more interested in speed, since the tib already has a real nice look.

GETTING HEADERS WITH THE STOCK EXHAUST WILL HURT NOT IMPROVE PERFORMANCE, ( yes I found the caps key ). Get the headders and save up to do the whole exhaust, install them all at the same time, you'll have to cut and relocate/replace the cat if you get a cat back system before headers. Trust me it's best to do it all at once and to keep it quiet a large 22" or larger glass pack will do. The 2nd o2 sensor goes behind the replaced/relocated cat into a hole made for it in the exhaust, you'll have to extend the wires 1ft but any competent muffler shop can do it all easy for you.

Also, I added the header with the stock muffler (I had the mid pipe already) and it made my stock muffler rattle really bad.
I finally got a new muffler Tuesday.

You should do a cat back with a high flow cat, and get the headers later...you want to go small to big, not big to small.
