I have to replace the half-shafts on my 2001 Tib. Do these require a core exchange? Has anyone found a decent online seller for them?

Also, my car has about 100,000 miles and the shocks/struts are out. Should I also be replacing the mounts? They good look so far.

As long as the mounts dont look dry rotted or are falling apart they should be good. If they look crappy or just want a piece of mind then replace them. I just did my shocks not to long ago and reused the mounts. That was at 75k

The best place to find some driveshafts are at a junkyard. There are usually a ton to pick from so you can grab the one in the best shape.

You might want to pick up some replacement o-ring seals from dealer for like 3 bucks to avoid any leakage due to worn rings.
