hey everyone, i'm taking my ECU to be retuned tomorrow (yes, by HDK, they're the only ones that do it for 300 bucks around here) and i wanna be real specific with the info i give them, i will be using one of their 60mm BBTB's, a 2.25-2.5" exhaust, Apexi N1 muffler, Random CAI (til the SR one ships) and the GT cam. whats's the specs on that cam?

 

Valve timing
Intake valve Opens (BTDC) 9°
Closes (ABDC) 43°

Exhaust valve Opens (BBDC) 50°
Closes (ATDC) 6°

Before Top Dead Center
After Bottom Dead Center
Before Bottom Dead Center
After Top Dead Center

 

thanks random, i knew you'd come through. btw, i talked to tim over there in massachusets, spoke very highly of you (as i'm sure does anyone with that alpine kit) we're gonna try and do some road trippin out to each other's neck of the woods to rep hyundai, given my car is back and operational by the end of this month. (SR, where are those headers! why me?!)

 

erm....You talked to them and they said they would retune it?

based on the their website you buy a new ecu from them and tell them what you have and their company guesses at the tuning.

and last I spoke with them, they dont do anything with the ecus at their place.

Also, the performnace ecus are from korea and wont work in your US spec car.
