Yes, the SR intake was MUCH louder than the Weapon-R. The SR Intake even beat the random Special for "loudness", but I'm guessing the Heat wrap I put on the Random Special keeps the vibration/noise down.
The SR intake fits into the fenderwell, in the same location as KORE/MHP. However, it routes to there in a very different path.
Sorry, we were so busy testing out intakes, we didn't snap any photos.
One more thing I should mention. This was "prototype" I. There will be one more "prototype" II before we see prodcution. I expect Prototype II in late Feburary.

There is an accent intake coming as well, but it is about 2-3 months behind the Tiburon/elantra intake.
hey all,
as you can see I'm quite new to all of this stuff. I know that if u make engine changes to your car than you will void the warranty, but I really want to make a few minor changes to my car so I was hoping that there was a way around that, so if u could tell me that would be great. Is this easy to install because if it is then I think I might do it myself and just exchange the intakes if I need to. Thanks.

Will it void your warranty? Depends on how cool or how big of a jerk your dealer's service manager is. It's fairly easy to install, and fairly easy to undo and put the stock airbox back on, so you should have no worries there. That goes for ALL the current CAI's on the market

It does fit Elantra's 5-speeds and autotragics!. wink.gif
