yes sir.... cvvt to be exact...I guess you could call it hyundai vtec? LOL should be pretty sweet in a car thats at least 500lbs lighter

To use a beta2, swap all of the sensors from your beta2 to it, along with the intake manifold and the thermostat assembly. You will also have to remove the cvvt unit, as you can't reallistically use that (unless you swap the ECU, which would be more work than swapping the engine and would yield exactly 0 added benefit).

not quite, only the 2004+ ones use ccvt, the 01-03 beta2's do not.

CVVT = for emissions and efficiency only, you'll get next to NO performance upgrade out of it.
