Default Good Cat-back exhaust with a high flo cat converter please

ok guys, i am looking for a good cat-back exhaust with a hi flo converter. i just check all the tiburon links i know of and the only one i found was theMBRP Catback Exhaust System from speedstate, and 01 rOLLeR said that that one doesn't fit. so can anyone help me out and give me soemlinks. i looked at the one at S.R. and i think that it is only the muffler, but it doesnt clarify.

The MBRP exhaust from speedstate does fit and fits perfectly from what I've SEEN. Pacesetter makes a cat back but everyone will tell you not to waste your money on this. Lastly, you can try Kore at;

Kore-motorsports.com

or

hyundaiperformance.com
Look in the Kore forums for help!!! wink.gif

KORE, Speedstate/MBRP and Pacesetter are your only options unless you have your local exhaust shop make a cat back system for you.

To be honest, I have yet to hear of anyone complain of fitment or quality of ANY of the units, including pacesetter.

The only people that I have seen complain about the pacesetter cat-back don't have it, thery're just going on hear say. I have spoke with several Tib owners with the pacesetter system and not one of them was dissapointed in the sound or performance.

The only problem with the pacesetter system is if you are planning on a turbo down the road you'll have to get a cat-back with at least 2.5" piping. The pacesetter is 2.25"

There is also Brullen, HVE, and a few others, I know HVE and Brullen have worked ( HVE may actually have ) cat and exhaust all matched up for the tib.

As far as I know Magnaflow only makes mufflers. I have one on my custom exhaust for the turbo. Decent sound, but not loud or "ricey". Others have complained that my car is too quiet for a turbo though.

I like the quiet myself.

Hey Random, the pacesetter doesn't fit a 98 Tib correctly. It has the wrong flange (two bolt pattern), wrong bend at where it would be bolted on, and was at least a foot too short. Just giving you a heads up. HondaEater PS just ate a Prelude with a H22 swap today wink.gif
