I used a 24" prybar to tension my PS belt, but anyays.
Sounds like the clutch isn't disengaging completely to me, I'd bleed the clutch first. Then, if possible, have an assistant hold down the clutch while you watch to see if the slave cylinder is moving all the way out or not.
Does pumping the clutch pedal fix the problem? I know in my friend's truck that was what he had to do when his slave cylinder went bad on him.
