hey their people, I was planning on doing service on my 97 tibby's automatic tranny, but wen I requested info on it, it showed that it takes ATF- Sp-II fuild. As I looked around the kragen for the fluid, nothing was compatible, am starting to think it is dealer fluid. Before I go calling the dealer does anyone know where is it that I can get a fluid that is Sp-II approved ATF fluid?

+1 on getting the fluid from the dealer.

When I went to work on my tib (prior to the auto-manual swap) I did a lot of research on this subject, the conclusion I came to was that you need to use the dealer fluid, it's the only stuff that really meets hyundai's specs for the transmission. They're grenades enough already without throwing substandard fluids into the mix.
