Getting a new battery??
I was wondering about getting a new, bigger battery. Is it wrong to get a battery with higher cold cranking amps than the original battery? For instance, to go from 435 C.C.A to 900 C.C.A.
If this is a stupid question, let me know please. Cuz I did go buy the bigger battery, but nervous to put it in. I don't want to blow up my car, but that small dinky korean battery sucks. And with all the extra power-sucking accessories in my car the big battery seems smart.
What's up? Peace. J.Skid.

It's only a stupid question if you already know about batteries. If not, it's a good question.
Your starter will only draw as many amps as it will draw. a higher CCA rating might let you crank it for longer though.
You won't hurt your car with a "bigger" battery, as long as it is still a normal ~12 volt car battery, not some 24 or 42 volt crazy thing, which you would have to TRY to get.
