Just wondering what you guys think about all the diffrent types of "generic" cold air intakes. Are they any good or just junk. Thinking of just using the tubes and switching out the filter for a k&n.

They're fine, just be sure to get an AEM clone, not a warm air intake or something. I got one, and it works just fine. The price increase isn't worth getting a real AEM, so go for the cheapo.

yah, if i woulda done it over, i woulda got AEM clone, heat wrapped it and spend the other 80$ elsewhere..

but GET THE AEM CLONE, not the injen style or nething.
