It's pretty close. The only hard part is setting in the weight of your car. If you enter the wrong weight, then you'll have incorrect readings.

The best way to look at accuracy is in two different ways. Resolution is the smallest segment of a given measurement that G-TECH/Pro can sense. Real Life accuracy is the worst case scenario to be expected in your measurements.
The difference between Resolution and Real Life accuracy is the result of noise, temperature dependency, vibration and other elements that influence the accelerometer and other internal electronic circuitry.

Right on Bro!
Basically for a true reading say after a Turbo or Supercharger install use a Dyno for accurate gains info...

Except...

A GTECH is also subject to user error and physical location. If the unit is not perfectly level, the accelerometer unit will not read correctly. If the GTECH is perfectly level but the driving surface isn't, it will not read correctly either.

If the road is rough, that's more drag that will not be calculated in. Wind resistance, tire pressure, hell even if your car is dirty or not (really dirty that is ) will affect how it accelerates, and thus will affect the accelerometer inside the GTECH.

It's to be used as a comparison tool, but not for quoting horsepower figures.
