I'm wondering if my fuel pressure regulator is going out. There is a wet ring all around the top of it, where the top is crimped onto the main body. This ring doesn't seem to be growing any bigger over time. It just worries me to see a wet ring where it doesn't seem to belong. The engine idles well and is running just fine.
Regulator

Yes, I know I have to clean the engine bay.

apparently this is a common problem, mine's doing the same thing. I wouldn't worry about it.

Well, I replaced it, and there is a difference. Smoother idle, and more consistency across the powerband. When you have an extra $50 and want to keep up the car, replace it.

I Ebayed mine. The exact OEM part cost $45 shipped overnight from Korea. Fourgreenauto is the seller I bought from. The local stealer wanted $60.

Having driven it for a week now, my throttle response is a little crisper (maybe it's in my head, IDK), and you're right, it does improve gas mileage to replace it.

$30 is cheaper yet. Good find!

Maybe somebody will spot this thread, decide to replace theirs, and buy yours off of you.
