you can pick up a used one from a junkyard for under $50. Should be about $20 tops.

Yeah I was gonna get it until I foound out that all fuel regulators are universal. 150.00 for a new one is too much.

Go on Ebay and get a used or close to new one

I bought my SX for $112 shipped from ebay. It's a pretty popular regulator. Very high flow.

Uh, I don't know who told you that, but they should be forced to watch theor own motor burn itself to death from running lean because of a "universal" fuel pressure regulator.

No, Fuel Pressure Regulators are NOT universal. Some engines run with as little as 25psi of fuel pressure, some run as high as 100 PSI of fuel pressure. If you were to install the wrong FPR on your engine, you could drown it in fuel, or starve it of fuel to the point of harming the engine.

Fuel Pressure Regulators are NOT "universial".

Aftermarket units that are "adjustable" are nearly universal, but there are still some goofy cars/engine designs that are so dated, or use such a different system that they cannot be used.
