Default Fog light duct for ram air

I have a cheapo ebay intake where the filter sits below the battery. I was thinking about fabbing up some kind of ram air duct work from the drivers side fog light hole. Anyone ever do this? What materials did you use and did you see any extra ponies from it?

Honestly unless you are traveling very fast all the time the amount of gains seen will be negligible.

Now get a bbtb, saab 3" maf, some mandrel bends and find a good welder you'll have a killer custom CAI

or get the MAF sensor adapter in a custom CAI.

if your filter is already right there, you wont see much more gains from anything you do PRE-Throttle Body.

the butt dyno probably wouldn't even show/feel a difference if you did ducting or had an AEM style CAI which puts the filter right where your ducting would be.

do you have stock fog lights? in place or just the plastic inserts that htey put there when you dont get fogs?

like whats his nuts said. dont bother wasting your money on piping and just to create a duct. find a way to get the filter into the "compartment" under the battery (in the fender) like the AEM intake does, and your straight.

Saab MAF ftw !

YO TURBOSOCKS, did you ever do that mod ? put the sensor in its own custom enclosure? ive never seen that.
