So... you are basically using the Flowmaster as a resonator in the line... that should be a good idea, keep us updated please.

Pretty much, but I think it will act more as a real muffler because can mufflers are basically perf. resonators and flowmaster will actually tone the noise down because of its structure. Glasspack should also help with the buzz.

Magnaflows work wonders sound-wise... I've never heard of a crappy one. Flowmaster, eh, but whatever floats your boat. Magnaflows are costly though.

You might be doing overkill though with both... you went from wanting straight through, all performance to resonators and glasspacks... LOL.

I have, just go to their website and listen to some imports.... some of them sound horrible!!!

Do you know how magnaflow is designed? It's a drilled pipe covered with same material used in glasspack. So, I don't see a point of paying extra $50 for the name and a oval muffler instad of a round glasspack.

They are not that expensive though. I think I found one for $70 shipped or so.

Well, but don't forget the larger the area that is filled with packing, the extra the help to get rid of the buzzz... however it's true they could be overpriced if your not installing them in the end as the final Muffler (they look good) if you just want a mid section muffler, any other could work fine too.
I am not sure if one glasspack would be enough though, I hope it's enough with what you have planned, but if not, try replacing the Flowmaster with a simple oval packed resonator (or oval glasspack, as you prefer to call it).

I'm going to have a glasspack installed.

Cat===glasspack===flowmaster====can muffler

that's how it's gonna be.

Magnaflow are basically glasspacks IMO, nothing more!

Flowmasta! lol I love that name. It's a sexual innuendo.

I have a Magnaflow and it's great.
