I need some help determining when piston 1 on my beta1 is at TDC. I'm installing my XD cam and got the timing wrong, so now I have to start from scratch with it. Once I'm able to get to TDC then I can align the timing mark on the exhaust cam with the one on the new XD cam. I hopefully didn't damage anything (the car won't start now) but I want to make sure the timing is right before going any further. Quick help with be greatly appreciated.

you see your timing marks on the timing belt cover? align the timing mark off the pulleys from your crank to tdc or btdc to the timing belt cover.
do not put it at 10 even though your timing is at 10 degrees. your car will run at 10 if set at btdc
