well, finally after a long struggle i managed to fit my overboost intake manifold supplied by
www.performancecoupe.co.uk
our illustrious uk coupe parts supplier

what a bloody terrible job!!!!
ok so its no so bad for anyone with a lhd car as the thing will fit straight on,but with a uk car iv had to have all the brackets changed,iv gotta have my cruise control cable extended....the list is endless
the good news from all this is its well worth it ladies and gents!!!
the difference in power is not exactly huge.there is more power for sure, but il dyno and get back to you bearing in mind iv not had ecu done or any sort of remap which will give you more from it,but have an sri and a actback exhaust
however the response is huge!!! its got a massive surge in power now from low down to mid range.
the downside is the noise, which has increased but the response more than makes up for it.but its been a massive struggle to sort.if your interested you can see whats gone on

when i got my airram on i had to leave the CC out and have the PVC hanging down but that's about all. it sucks but it does the job. the power increase is noticeable as well but still not enough to drool over 02.gif not disappointed, but i figured it could take on some everyday V6 power which it cannot in the U.S. all in all those extra cylinders would have made up for the thousands of dollars spent however not on gas mileage.

it looks good! you should match them throttle body as well. you're going to think you've got power until you have a hard time passing Toyota Prius lmao.gif lmao.gif lmao.gif (yah sucks for me)

good to see you here!

manifold looks REAL nice. any pics of it off, to show the runners? or the inside of the plenum.. manifold has a real nice shape to it.. looks like it would be great for turbo.

why do you need to change your idle valve? you shouldn't have to. it should be manually adjustable. if you haven't done so already, if your idle is off, is to adjust it using two reverse spinning screws on the bracket. this ill shift the entire cable closer or farther from the throttle body. i made the mistake of leaving it unsecured and drove it loose. i was so scared i f*cked something up and the car was electronically not corresponding to the air flow but in reality it just needed tightening haha. adjust it while watching the throttle shut. it should be easy given a few trial vs. errors.

also make sure you have phenolic spacers so it's easier to take out should anything happen. you can make your own using material and a nice sharp razor. i used my previous spacer and traced it onto the gasket material, then cut it.

aaaah that could be the problem.we are making a bracket to hold idle valve cos there is nowhere on the intake manifold for it.i think adjustment may sort it
