alright guys... prior to a discussion between me and scca elantra..
We discussed whether a 75 shot can remove 2 seconds off a quarter mile time in a tibby

If this was to be true, i would have ran low 14's to high 13's... which, unfortunately didnt happen sad.gif
BUT I DID GET 14's!!!


Here is a timeslip of a tibby with a random special intake, 4-1 ceramic coated HVE headers, full 2.5 exhaust, and a 70-100 shot of venom...
bottle pressure was between 900-700 PSI
Track temp was 95+
14 seconds

Just incase nobody ever got to see... the dyno of the FIRST EVER venom nitrous kit
it was slightly messed up... bugs and stuff... but it now works PERFECTLY
185 WHP 200 TQ

My non dyno run was low... mainly because of my messed up compression 210, 160, 165, 210 DAM YOU ZEX!!!

but i cant complain... those dam zex plugs have worked wonders... although the dam ZEX gauge acts funny sometimes

Jaws... Sorry but....

What the heck kind of a dyno run was that? The graph was all over the place. I hope it was the equipment and not the car that had such irregular power outputs.

I know you don't like the ZEX kits but all of the cars with the ZEX kits have a nice 40,50,60 wheel hp jump as soon as the nitrous is engaged and the nitrous hp lines are almost parallel to the stock hp lines.

cheuk... it was the first venom kit

The nitrous solenoid was acting funny... venom invited me to their headquarters and fixed everything

It no longer runs like that... before i would sudden pulls and it jolted at the beginning...
But it no longer runs like that... It engages smoothly and i no longer feel sudden burts..
Between the ZEX 75 and Venom 75 equivalent... well i really cant compare, since the ZEX kit had a nice engine with equal compression... the venom kit has been stuck with the bad compression since day 1

But i feel the venom a bit stronger
The zex kit never fried my clutch... the venom kit has done it about 3-4 times on the 2nd gear shift

Good... I was a little worried.
I'm sure your engine didn't like the nitrous solenoid doing funny things.
