exhaust rattle

Default exhaust rattle

i had an aftermarket exhause put on at a shop. now when i drive my car, i hear a rattle underneatle. it seems to me that the whole exhaust pipe is loose and is hitting the lower control arms. any suggestions?

my muffler likes to rattle against one of the hangers underneath ... i just used some duck tape to cushion the vibration

Mine rattles if I push it hard before it heats up. Maybe that's the glasspack, I dunno. If I let it heat up (like you're supposed to; before you put the pedal to the floor), the rattle goes away.

It's baffled me since I got the new exhaust, but since it's an easy fix (and something I should be doing anyway), I don't worry about it anymore.

Take it back to the shop & have them look at it.
