In all actuallity it should be close. I know elantras and tibs of new can swap back and forth, well the i4's anyways. buy it and try. Worst case you sell it on exd or newtib.

The difference in lenght between the tibs and elantras exhaust is made up not in the cat back, but in the lenght of the second piece of the headers.

i believe it is a catback. id like to know if it would fit before i buy it. rather than buy it ,then it doesnt fit and i have to sell it and probably have to take a loss doing so.

RD tibs are based on the older elantras maybe before 2001s. Newer elantras share their platform with GKs.
so it will be different, and you will end up selling your parts.
don't buy it.

Yes the gks and xds are the same platform just as the rds and j2s are the same platform... but I have owned an rd1 an xd2 and j2 the exhaust from the xd to the j2 I would say was the exact same I have taken measurements but based on just looking at them I would say they are the same.

Better yet this comming weekend I am headed over to REDZ house to help him on his rd1 I will get measurements of my xd and his rd1 and at this point there will be no questions or speculations as to whether an xd to rd cat back is possible with no modification aside from hangers.

I don't think it will be all that much different. It shouldn't cost you all that much to modify to fit.
