I know everyone said dont get them.. OBX header with racing cat. and yeah i regret it but only because of the buzzing. Its LOUD! very loud. And it sound like a little ricer. I have a pacesetter cat-back. Which sounded really nice until i put the headers on.. So here is my question. is there anything i can do to get rid of the buzzing sound? short of replacing the headers?

sorry mad. i just checked. but, i cant really find anything on how to fix the noise problem. only how much they suck. lol.

 

Do you have a custom, stock or aftermarket exhaust? I had a SSAutochrome 4-2-1 header, custom crush bent exhaust with no resonator, I buzzed like hell. When I installed the KRD exhaust (with resonator), the buzzing went away.

 

i have a ssauto header/race cat with 2.5 mandrel bent pipe with a moroso spiral muffler...sounds deep and does not buzz at all...just try a glasspack or some sort of resonator..also, make sure your bolts are all tight because mine come loose every now and then...prolly because my shocks are like rock...thank god im in Fl

 

adding a cat or a glasspack will help smile.gif
