head-mani 43-50 Nm / 32-37 lbft

the others i would just tighten up fairly hard without going crazy

95pro- in the future, most of this stuff is listed on hmaservice (webtech). Its a real good resource to familiarize yourself with.

got around to it today.

i thought the stock cat was getting clogged.
no cel or anything like that.
but during acceleration, there'd be bogging and hesitation. and every now and then i'd smell the rotten-egg smell.

i took off the old mani/cat.
i thought the cat-to-exhaust nuts were siezed, they had to soak in penetrating fluid for 2hours to loosen up.
got lucky i didnt break anything. that sheet was rusted pretty good too.

turns out, it was cracked in between the 3rd and 4th cylinder.
cat "looked" okay, but i bet it was ready to go soon.

just got to finish it up tomorrow.
tighten the belts and nuts for the mani-to-head.

i was surprised that i have 2000 tibby, that there's only 1 o2 sensor.

i should have just put on the obx headers that i had lying around. oh well, maybe some other time.

thank you radu, its all about sharing information.
instead of go to this site, search, and this other bs that goes on.
civic forums are worse, which i have, and a couple of mazdas. the mazda forums are great, mostly everyone is eager to help.
end of rant.

so i changed the exhaust-mani/cat.

the car still hesistates and stumbles when taking off, but once the car hits higher rpms there's no hesitation.
at idle, there's a blip and the rpm's jump up and down.

and the car still has the sulfur smell coming from the exhaust.

still no CEL.

could it be the secondary cat?
