I guess if the channel is broken the only fix is a new cover. If the valve cover is coming off I guess it would be a good time to clean the pcv valve? I thought I heard there is a channel the can get clogged over years that causes you you consume more oil or something?

I clean my PCV pretty often. I just take it off and spray it with a solvent until it rattles easily.



I did clean out the cover inside the valve cover with Seafoam.
