What piecies can be painted in the engine bay and what kind of paint should be used?

 

Just about anything can be painted what colors are you looking for? There is plenty of engine paint on the market now and in many different colors that you can use from white to florecent green!! It can be bought at just about any auto parts store! Just make sure that it has a good temp rating on it.

 

ok i found some wjite paint i want to use that has a 1200 degree rating will that be high enough? thanks guys i appreciate it

 

you bet it will! you should be able to paint anything in the engine compartment with that!I would just shy away from your exhaust! No I'm not crazy some people paint there headers black to keep them looking nice but it is more of a pain in the arse to do this so I wouldn't suggest it!! But if you are going to paint the usual stuff like valve cover and othe tid bits like that you will be just fine LATER!!!!!!!!!!
