Default Which engine oil is better?

Mobil 1 0w-40 vs Castrol 5w-40?

I have coupons for both and its time for an oil change.

Castrol. Still working on my 456,000 mile friction test in my Nissan Hardbody. So far, never had the motor apart.

Pretty much no oil will fail your engine...as long as you change it.

The difference between 0-40 and 5-40 is negligible. Both have way too many friction modifiers. I try to stick to 5-30, or 10-40. My Mustang takes 0-20.
