sad.gif ok i got into a small wreak in mid of march. only thing that was damaged mechanically was the radiator. i replaced it. went to start the car yesterday for the first time and the car starts fine. the car for some reason is slightly shaking/vibrating at idle. im like 'wtf?'. So i think, why dont i rev it to see if it shakes more. it did. even worse than before, but the car didnt rev correctly. it seemed to be choked. the CEL came on blinking. again im like 'wtf?'. the car hits 3.5k rpms then the light stops blinking but is still on and the car revs up to 5k normally... then i was like 'WTF!?'. did all of the above over and over. even tryed resetting ecu but nope no help. intake or exhaust maybe? only change from stock is the resonator removal...

those are the symptoms... whats wrong with my tibby? i think its beyond sick...

any ideas? i refuse to work on the body until its running perfectly but shes getting kinda old and my father is about to send it to salvage if its not on the road soon. if any other information is needed ill be glad to check up on the car so that i can better inform you all. thanx -

If you can get the code from the CEL.. we can tell you whats wrong

Since you were in a wreck, im assuming your front engine mount might be faulty and might lead to some of the vibration...
but thats the least of your worries right now

Something is wrong with the ignition/fuel delivery system

Getting the code read would do wonders. As we've said before, Autozone reads them for free... hail.gif

wait a minute

did you ONLY replace the radiator?

do you remove anything else in the car?

It also kind of sounds like you have your MAF backwards

Search youngun, search.

You can get your CEL scanned for free at almost any auto place, Autozone, Checker, ect.

MAF = Mass Air Flow sensor, in the intake.

The MAF is the tube between your intake box (if stock, CAI if you have one) and your throttle body.

It's the piece with the red arrow on it, make sure your arrow points that way. This can lead to a lot of the problem's you are describing.

for me it sounds like timing/fuel delivery problem.

check cpark plugs, plug wires

When your car does it go and see what color is exhaust gases and is it smells unburned fuel.
