Default is the ecm the culprit?

Not sure if I'm posting in the right place, if not sorry. But I've been having this big problem. My tiburon wont start unless the cell is on the cluster, when I turn the ignition on.. its not on. I changed the main relay and still have the same issue. The car will start but the only way to start it is to unplug and plug the ecm back in while the ignition is on. I'm starting to think the ecm is the problem cause my fuel pump doesn't work either, can anyone shed some light?

What is the cell?

I'd probably look at getting an OBD scan to start off with.

I had my friend scan it and no codes were shown.

Guessing cell = CEL

If the check engine light is on when it's running there is a code set.

This sounds weird. Is the car fitted with an immobiliser?

as in, lights with the rest of the indicators and turns off?

Double check on the immobilizer. It can make a pretty big difference.

Like everything on the dash lights up. The brake battery and those all light up. The check engine light wont unless I unplug and plug the ecm back in. The light will illuminate if I unplug the main relay. I just got a brand new OEM one so I know that can't be the problem. Where's the Immobilizer on our cars?

Set your forced induction so it won't boost, and use the stock everything electronics. Does the car start?
