it says 97-01 tiburon ..well ...so i bought it ..arrived yesterday . but of course it wouldnﾃつｴt fit .. maybe for GK version but not RD/facelift ..so i opened a dispute against the seller .. and now it has be returned back to them . Full refund!!! i wrote to the seller that the item he was selling weren ﾃつｴt for that model ..he get angry against me .. many people had bought these shifters without any problem ..yeah my ass. i have seen several threads at this forum that these shifters arent for RD and facelift ..

so donﾃつｴt buy from this seller!!!

 

someone else here had a similar problem. some rd1 and rd2 have different shifters. that is the other type.

 

was it visionz that bought one just for the hell of it and said it wouldn't fit?

this has been covered TONS of times....

those shifters only fit some 01's. 97-early 01 are quite different, and will not work with that shifter. easy way to tell is the shifter base will be white for the STS your have instead of black like your car has.

 

I have a VERY late model 01.

It has a black shifter base.

The Hyundai parts pages don't show ANY white bases or even have it listed for ANY RD's.

Neither does the Fische.

It's just a rumor, as no one has ever seen one with a white base.

This guy said he's sold a ton of them, I bet he has. Either folks are smart and buying the right one, or they are buying the wrong one and just kissing their $10 total paid away.
