I'm looking to cal 3 sets of TACHs. Is there somewhere i can freq clamp, or wirestab to get readings? I tried to freq clamp cyl#1#2#3#4 each one gave me eratic readings. I'd just like to find somewhere simple for a one time op. I know about the ECM #40 and the one on the back of the gauges. Is there somewhere else that can be probed in the engine compartment or with the dashboard removed?

1. Why? Is your stock tach broken?
2. Aftermarket tach's are R I C E.
3. Why are you doing 3 Tachs? Afraid you might have 2 of them break when running? LOL
4. Search. There's 2 very easy places to get it from.
a. Tach Sig screw on the back of the instrument panel.
b. Tach sig wire enroute to the ECU.

Actually, I bought a seccond set of gauges to mod and then stick in my car. I received another set of gauges from patreezy for modding his, now all 3 have needles pulled off and I was hoping to make it quick and painless to cal them.
I did search, and i came up with that. I was hoping i could get it from an OBD pin or on coil somewhere so i could make it all really simple. I'll post if webtech turns up something.

If TCM is signal from tachymeter, then you can find it in OBD-II (D-Link) port under the dash. It's pin #1.
But check WebTech before. Electrical Trouble Shooting -> Engine Electrical System -> General -> Data Link Details
