Anyone try, have tried, or have had experience with these new plugs yet? I'm reading all bad things about them online.

I think I'll stick to my faithful NGK Iridium plugs with years upon years of experience and quality.

the only thing i saw about them was on the horsepower tv show on spike. they showed a 7 hp gain on a dyno but didnt tell nothing about longevity.

That looks like a downward firing plug. Each engine is designed for a certain shape of fire. If you shoot flame towards the bottom of the engine, then you are changing the flame shape. It is all a matter of how the fuel is burned. I'm sure if you took a bunch of spark plugs from different manufacturers and that was the only downward firing plug in a downward firing engine, it would show gains compared to other plugs.
