I need to have the car running over 300hp by the end of the month. 320hp is roughly where the stock TB/manifold combo limits us. However, it is probably only one of those and this can be an easy fix for me to do within the next few days.

Stock TB diameter = 54mm
Area = 3.53 sq. in.

Now, I don't have the exact dimensions on the manifold runners here at work, but I'll get them tonight. So for now, we'll just plug in theoretical numbers:
Stock runners = 1" or 1.25" (x4)
Area = 3.14 sq. in. or 4.9 sq. in.

So you see, depending on the size of the runners, it may just be a TB restriction. In that case, I can easily cut off the stock flange, weld on a bigger one, and bolt on a 65-70mm mustang throttle body. Then I'll be good for quite a bit more power.

Anyone happen to know the measurements of the IM runners?

the limit isnt the stock TB and manifold... the owner of seoulfulracing is at 400WHP on stock TB and intake manifold

dont forget your Pressurizing the manifold so you have more oxygen per cubic inch of air when u add pressure... so while ull have to raise the boost more to achieve your WHP goal the TB cant ever really LIMIT the HP output just slow it down

You said yourself that the TB and IM was limiting you.

Car did 317 WHP and 320 Tq

i kinda ran into a wall @ this level, it seems the stock manifold/tb cant flow enough air right now...

yea i did, until is saw what seoulfulracing guy did and i installed a bigger TB/airram and all it did was smooth out my powerband... didnt gain much MAYBE 10whp.... but it got easier to make power

what was holding me back before was me not advancing my timing out enough

now with my methanol injection kit and the knocklight i make ALOT more power alot easier and the gt35r doesnt hurt

Measured the stock intake manifold.

1.25" x 1.875" oval x4 =

6.88sq. in.

so......

Stock throttle body = 3.53" sq.
Stock intake manifold runners = 6.88" sq.
70mm throttle body = 5.97" sq.

So this concludes that the stock intake manifold runners are good enough to flow more air than even a 70mm throttle body, as long as you cut off the throttle body flange from the plenum.

you mean if you cut off the flange and weld on a bigger flange?

what if you bored the flange?

Yes, I'm talking about cutting off the flange. I don't know if there's is enough material to bore out the flange. Although the Rside 70mm bolts on.
But we can't get those anymore. So we're now talking about Mustang throttle bodies. So you'll need to weld on a new flange anyways. They're available pretty cheap.

The throttle body that I got was made by Proffesional Products. I believe they also make the flanges.
I'm not 100% sure since its a dumbestic company. My friend still needs to get me the flange. I'll ask.
