I just got off the phone with Dustin at Crower Cams. The preliminary talk is that he can product a set of cams (intake and exhaust) in the configuration that we want, meaning with whatever lift and duration we want for about $400, maybe as low as $350 as a wholesale price to me. This is for NA applications and NOT for VVT at this time. The hitch is that we would need to commit to 200 sets. I know that is a lot and probably makes this whole thing a lark but I thought I would see what kind of response I get. I am posting this on all Hyundai sites. I am setting this up as a poll to make it easier to see total interest. I am not going to count PM’s or posts so vote if you want your voice heard.

There's no way you'll run a GB of 200 sets of anything with an RD Tiburon....we probably dont even have 200 "regular" members here.

would be cool otherwise though.

For that money there's no way you could even get 10 people together, and I'd bet against 5... 200? out of the question.

This kinda makes me sad to see that we could have these. It's like dangling a prize in front of us that's just out of reach.
I saw a set of sharkracing cams on ebay for $800 and they came with an adj. cam gear. It's the second set I've seen on ebay within a years time. Anyone know anything about these? I'm guessing they stopped production a long time ago just as they did with the z fenders.

Like everyone else said, sounds like a great deal but never in your wildest dreams will you get 200 buyers.

no way that you will get 200 sets of orders from any other car related forum.

in my opinion, we should never do this kind GBs that the product is not even produced. people have had hard time waiting forever.

I figured that 200 was too many but I thought I'd ask anyway. Like I said in my post I have posted this opportunity all over. I should have gone to the Kia sites too but I'm not registered at any of them right now.

They would be much closer to $350 a set than $400 but that probably doesn't really matter. I'll keep this going for a bit longer. Looks like we have about 50 that said yes right now.
