Default DIY CAI Done at last.

Not posting any HP gains figures nothing like that.

But the pics are here
http://www.sover.net/~mektek/car/carpics.htm

I used a Spectre Cone filter
A 180Degree 3inch diamater alumin(sp) pipe from JcWhitney
Some groments I picked up at the speed shop.
A brass pipe fiting for the Crank Case

I did this mostly by eye and the filter runs right to the left of the fog light.

Sound mean but reserved. Like you know its tuff but it does not need to show it.

Ill do a walk through write up sometime. It was not hard just Waiting for the weather so I would not Freeze My butt off doing it.

Thanx and yes I could feel them. But Im not going to BS with any numbers Because I don't know.
I do know my 0-60 was faster by a bit.
I posted some video on my site (follow the links)
You can also hear it.

I know after I went tooling around for a half hour hammering it kinda hard then felt the tube. Still Cold.

Btw I have to give credit to Random. I got most of the Idea from him. Just with my own slant.

Looking forward to your write up of the steps involved.

It looks great, and there is some definite upside to a DIY. My mechanical abilities aren't the best - but it looks like a good weekend project.
