Default different tuning meters

RAndom you talk about the fuel to air ratio meters and guages and stuff like that. i need something like that for the zex nitrous. before when i would spray i had no idea if i was running lean or rich. i know this is in the wrong forum but i couldnt figure out what to put it in so feel free to move it wherever. also when you talk about tuning for a natural air car like for the cai and headers and exhaust and cam stuff liket hat how do you do that i mean what part do you manually tune? if you have any references so i can learn about this let me know thanks man. im a little lost on this area. and dont want to blow my engine spraying the 55 shot. i had a local shop install it for me and they didnt tell me much
it works well but i might be endanger and not even know it.

With NA. The car should be tuned on a dyno, and you will need some form of ECU trickery (S-AFC, Haltec, Unichip..etc) to affect changes within the engine.

the problem with Nitrous, is that you are trying to tune for a 10 or 15 second event, then leave the car otherwise normal. A SAFC would not work for this.

There are 2 books out about tuning and installing Nitrous Oxide systems that I would reccomend.

First

How to Install and Use Nitrous Oxide
(Nitrous Oxide Injection Guide)
by Joe Pettitt

and

Supercharging, Turbocharging and Nitrous Oxide Performance Handbook (Powerpro)
by Earl Davis, Diane Davis

I would suggest the reading before the install, but it's a little late for that.

BTW...moving to ENGINE forum.
