+ if running very rich - catalytic converter will die much faster.

look at the top left side of the piston, thats what happens when you run lean on 18 psi

its not my tibby, its one of my probes, but you get the idea.

then you end up spending lots of money, and get a new motor like this one wink1.gif

hello forged pistons, .30 over, and higher compression for that boost smile.gif

This is slightly off-topic but it relates well. What would you say the extremes for A/F ratios would be. I know like 16:1 would be very lean, but what about richness?

i doubt you could blow a motor running two rich,

my old mx6 turbo i ghetto built for fun ran insanely rich, were talking if it sat at idle, there would be a pool of raw black fuel behind the muffler. it shot out flames at every shift, yet still ran a 12.63 and believe me when i say it was untuned.

if too much fuel would blow a motor, that car would have blown up years ago.

Well i would be pretty sure too much fuel wont blow it, but it doesnt mean that too much fuel cant ruin something for good. I would guess it would just stall out if it got too rich. But does anyone know when under boost how much fuel is too much?
