Custom cat back price good or no??
I just went out to my local performance shop and was going to look at rims but i ended up getting an exhuast. I got the Weapon R K2 Speeder. I already heard it on my friends Excel and i liked it. In like a week or 2 i am getting a custom cat back put on.
My question is i called the company that my brother went to and over the phone he quoted about 125 but he didnt have like have a look to see how much piping it actually was. Does this sound like a good price? Thanks

$125 is a decent price for Mandrel bent piping. Just make sure they nuke the resonator. If that is too loud for you, have them install a glass pack muffer in place of the resonator.

Why would i want them to take out the ressonator? Doesnt that make it a lot louder? The exhaust is pretty loud anyway. I dont know if i would want it any louder or i wouldnt be able to hear my music good

Whats the advantages and disavantages of getting a custom cat back over one like that is already made for the tiburon besides the price? Also when they make a custom cat back do they weld it all on or does it bolt together like MBRP's?

Unless your running a fat nasty turbo mandrell bending is not really neccesary. I have 2.5" Hve mantrel bends in my Elantra and it doesn't run any faster then my Tib with just custom shop pipebending, and the same mods in both cars.
