wont the way you guys told me to do the head gasket (tighten, loosen) crush the gasket? i see it as almost reusing a headgasket that was already flatened. any input?

for ARP studs, thats how THEY recommend it. its not like its what we think is the best way, this is the only way according to THEM that they will seat properly.
if your really worried, id say call them up directly, they will be able to change your mind pretty quickly.

but to quadruple check, it goes like this?:
*Hand Tighten Studs
*40 Ft./Lbs. in Sequence, Loosen nut in Sequence, Tighten Stud (5 Times)
*60 Ft./Lbs. in Sequence, Loosen nut in Sequence, Tighten Stud (5 Times)
*80 Ft./Lbs. in Sequence, Loosen nut in Sequence, Tighten Stud (5 Times)
but to quadruple check, it goes like this?:

i was told each one 5 times... i think
or is it:
40 ft.lbs,loosen, tighten stud,60 ft/lbs, loosen, tighten stud, 80 ft/lbs, loosen, tighten stud x 5????

yeah i know this. but its crushing it, then relieving it and crushing it again. i wasnt sure if that would be able to seat properly. its almost like using a used head gasket i would think
