Default CrAcKiNg exhaust manifold

Like a few other people I'm starting to see signs of cracking on my exhaust manifold.

Oh well... time to break out the welding equipment.

Add one more to the list.

I would except for emissions testing. Jersey makes me pop my hood to check for emissions tampering.

Besides, I don't feel like putting anymore money into my car. I'm saving for a down payment on a house for the future... that'll be my new toy LOL. Complete with in wall wiring for surround speakers and ethernet in every room. Mwuhahhah, I need professional help.

you should not waste your time trying to weld it, it's made out of cast iron wich is very difficult to weld and if you can do it, it won't last long.

you would have to ''cold'' weld it cause if not the metal gets really brittle and WILL break.

I would start searching for a stock replacement. Either in your local junkyards or from someone who has bought headers. Either place should be real cheap.

I have one, from my 2k1 5spd, almost no miles on it, works good, no cracks.

Email me at blackvortex1@hotmail.com if interested and make me an offer.
