Completely stumped and I'm desperate for help

I don't have a obd and doesn't that only check sensors? I know every sensor is good

you KNOW every sensor is good? How so?



You're ready to give up and you haven't even tried to find/fix the problem. Get a code reader. Sometimes you can find them on the local used sites online or you can buy a cheap one from the auto parts store.



On my Isuzu I can use a jumper wire at the port and can actually read the codes off the dash light without a code reader. Not too sure if that can be done with a Hyundai or not.



Edit- Have you double checked all the grounds? One bad or unattached ground can prevent the car from starting.

I have 2 X3 and I used every sensor from my daily to see and it acted the same.





I'm going to find a code reader.



And my resistance is .3 it's normal and I'm not sure about disconnected grounds because I've been looking for that everytime I look at the car.

Question!!



If my fuel pump was starting to fail would it not give me the pressure I need for the injectors to fire?



I tested to see how much fuel would come out from the feed line. So I put the line in to a cup. And cranked the car for about 5-10 sec and I only got about an inch into the cup after doing that 2-3 times and this is a large Taco Bell cup btw.



It's a little fishy to me I feel like there should be a hell of a lot more fuel coming out then what I see. So in guessing low fuel pressure but what can cause that and could it be the fuel pump close to failure?

volume and pressure arent the same thing.

Get a pressure gauge and hook it up to the line, find out how much pressure there is. Then take that info and go to your shop manual and compare the numbers. Is it low?



**** PLEASE tell me you have a shop/repair manual to work with?

so could that be a possibility???



and im sorry about the taco bell cup but thats all i had lol but it just seemed to me that the pressure would had to be low cause from all those cranks the cup should be atleast half full. and it should have what 40 psi right? ill find what pressure it has and get back to you guys.





and on the obd code reader....i told you guys ive changed all sensors with ones that i know worked obd only would tell me faulty sensors... no?
