I previously swapped my x3 with a beta 1 the car ran fine! Except I had a very bad rod knock so I ended up taking the motor back out and swapping the block with an 02 block and now when I Finnished the car is won't start. So I did my diagnosises and I'm getting great spark I am getting pressure all the way to the rail so fuel pump is obviacly working I even took the feed line off and had it in a cup and I'm getting fule coming out of it. Then I checked for power in the injectors and I see that there is 2 wires in each plug and there's a white wire in each plug that has 12v and the other wire in each plug they're all different color wires (example white wire 12v then there's a yellow/black wire) I'm guessing the different color wire are pulsed from the ecu. changed crank sensor and cam sensor that didn't work I've even changed the ecu that didn't work. So then I changed the engine control relay and that didn't work... I'm lost pretty much the injectors aren't firing and I put starting fluid and the car almost wanted to start but didn't.



Please help I really am out of ideas this is a really stupid thing to happen smh /:

I really do know that feel, it happened to me when I did my beta II swap



Somewhere in your wiring, you've missed a spot.



Is your OBD port working? If not, get it working (it's not too many wires to wire up) and start checking sensor data and trouble codes.

Do you think maybe the 02 block needs an o2 crank sensor?

use ALL the same sensors from the same ecu you have

...actually faith you probs want the sensor to match whatever flywheel you have.

You want the sensors that worked before. Do not trust whatever came on the replacement engine.

do you have a relay on your coil(cant remember if there is one on stock harness) ? I run Haltech,but, had a faulty relay cause me 3 weeks of frustration!,. It tested fine with a led tester, but faded out with a bulb tester !.

Well I used all the same sensors that I had the car running on before I swapped blocks. And idk what you mean by a relay on the coil. ( I did try the engine control relay but that didn't do a thing after replacing it .

crank I could understand....and beta 1 and 2 cranks dont matter



I had a beta 2 running off of beta 1 gear in the wagin just fine
