I just put in a Bomz CAI, a week later (now) I have some white stuff all over it... It's kind of crusted over and I really don't know what it is... There's a rattling my engine too if that helps with anything... I was just wondering if anyone knows what in the world it is.. Thanks!

Bomz = Shit Quality.

It's probably oxidation or water stains. THey make very crappy products.

Where is the rattling coming from?

When does it rattle?

Got pics?

Hey, I bought a Bomz becasue from what I could tell people were fine with it... It has a really nice sound and is a notcible improvement. I suppose everyone has their opinions.. Oh well...

Well my cold air starts at the top and goes down past the battery... I brought it to a garage and he says he thinks its battery acid... I've had problems with the battery, but putting water in the holes helps it out.. The guy I got it from previosuly about a year ago said he had to get the battery changed a couple months before I got it... I'll try and put pics up on it asap, my computer is acting up at the moment. Thanks for the help!!

Just as a note, I brought it to the dealer yesterday for a recall I hadn't done before and they of course had a huge list of things they found "wrong" and among it was the axel seal on the passanger side, a leaking with my radiator hose, if any of those helps... The rattling comes from the passanger side and I think its becasue of the seal...

Thanks for your help! *great site!*

There's where the white stuff is coming from.
It's coolant drying off.
Get that leak fixed along with the axle seal.

Part # 43119-28002 wink1.gif
It's the seal that seals where your axle plugs into your tranny
