Even if it is thicker, I could supply new studs. I was just concerned about being able to bolt the support back up to the manifold. I'll have to get a Pro-E rendering of it and have it made.

I thought there was a coolant line running into the throttle body? I thought there was a discussion on this about a year or less ago. If there is such a line would that spacer really help?

You would remove that line. Most of the BTB's do not have the fitings for that line (Barney TB and new 58mm TB from SR do not have them).

If you get your TB bored out by Onpol, it is reccomend that you remove the lines and just route the coolant hoses into a loop.

I'd definitely be in for some accessory pulleys.

What kind of a power gain could we expect from the phenolic spacer? Is it worth... (what is it worth anyways?)

The phenolic spacer would only really show a gain on a fairly modified engine. On a bone stock motor, it would probably show no gain.

The point behind it is to lower intake air temps going into the combustion chamber as much as possible. This allows you to run more ignition advance which will allow you to make more power. Without it, hotter air enters the combustion chamber, increasing the risk of detonation, requiring you to retard the timing, and loose power.

I don't suppose that there is event a vague chance that the space would fit my s/c IM?

It should. The SC bolts on in place of the IM. This spacer goes inbetween the IM and SC.

Don't get too excited however. Additional fabrication would be required on your part due to the SC being located .25" to .5" farther away from the Head. (new belts, new mounts..etc..etc..etc..)

If I was to do the fuel rail, would you want me to supply the adjustable vacuum fuel regulator, fuel filter, adapter fittings to eliminate the factory fuel filter and steel braided hose. The system would use #6 hose and fittings.
I am down for all this, how much and how long tho?

when you mentioned pulleys are you talking about simply making them lighter but not smaller/larger. If that was the case I might be intrested. Also are you describing a pulley kit or individual ones.
