Clutch Problem

just replaced my clutch/pp/tob with oem stuff (2000 tib) 105,000 miles.
now the pedal will go about half way down, then gets really stiff for the rest of the travel.

the new clutch kit is slipping slightly when in the higher rpm torque zone (aggressive driving).
goes into gear and shifts okay with the small travel before pedal gets stiff. the clutch arm moved about half way
when pedal is pressed to the "stiff" point, then more clutch arm travel when pedal is further depressed.

I'm thinking maybe slave cylinder or some hydraulic problem. Worked fine before replacement.

did you bleed the slave cyl?

yes, seemed okay - no air in the system (best I could tell).
have not attempted pedal adjustment because it was okay before replacing clutch disc/pp/tob.
pulled it all again and replaced with aftermarket oem parts from another supplier, same results!
