Clutch Problem
just replaced my clutch/pp/tob with oem stuff (2000 tib) 105,000 miles.
now the pedal will go about half way down, then gets really stiff for the rest of the travel.
the new clutch kit is slipping slightly when in the higher rpm torque zone (aggressive driving).
goes into gear and shifts okay with the small travel before pedal gets stiff. the clutch arm moved about half way
when pedal is pressed to the "stiff" point, then more clutch arm travel when pedal is further depressed.
I'm thinking maybe slave cylinder or some hydraulic problem. Worked fine before replacement.
thanks a bunch..

hey, that sounds like mine just b4 i had to replace the whole clutch system! the piece that travels from the pedal to the master was actually slightly bent & was binding when depressed, but i went too far & actually forced the slave & throwout so badly i broke the clutchplte, so u might want to take a good look @ that b4 2 L8.....
