Good for you. Sounds like alot of fun. I'll be doing my clutch in the next week or two. I've got parts here waiting on install.

Which flywheel did you get? And, did it have a 41mm center hub?

Yeah, that slave cylinder mod is really nice. More positive engagement.

Bump.

I ordered the XTD flywheel from Aimco on Ebay. It's going in with an Exedy OEM clutch. Hope the flywheel gets here soon so I can do my clutch. Slipping around town, takes a little bit at the same speed before it engages fully.

very nice, i think a good aftermarket clutch, and lightweight flywheel are your two best mods. i actually had mine done before i even had an intake or exhaust!

but i recommend the fidanza flywheel. mainly cause its even lighter, and the friction surface is fully replaceable fing02.gif

The Fidanza is also about $300-400. The XTD cro-moly flywheel (XTD) was $200 shipped. And it's a 41mm crank! Never see those on Ebay anymore!

I didn't want to dick around with taking the old flywheel off and taking it to a machine shop that may or may not do a good job resurfacing it. Much rather bite the bullet and get a new flywheel, even this one will be better than stock. Plus I intend this to be the first and last clutch this car gets! Well, maybe at 240k miles...
