Default cherry bomb resonators glasspacks

ok, don't ever ever use these ugly nasty hideous things. Just a FYI for anyone searching. They say that they're 2.25" but the inner diameter of them is actually a hair less then 2". So they're a big power-robber when it comes to your exhaust.

Anyway, i was measuring a buddies of mine resonator when i notice this. Anyway, i'll be changing mine out for a thrush this weekend. (btw the cherry bomb was the only thing in the area when i got my exhaust).

I couldn't find any cherry bombs around my area so I ordered a 2.25"in/out 25" Thrush. I noticed that it too does shrink down some in the inner diameter. I guess that so some of the exhaust flow will go into the holes and quiet it down...

Spatch!

I took out my resonator a couple days ago. Replaced it with a 2.5" pipe to match the exhaust. I didn't know how much power i was losing because of that one coffee can.
With headers/free flow cat/2.5"pipe/straight muffler...my car does get annoying loud, but the fun is worth it.
