Default Check Engine Light flashing. Assistance Required!!!

Yes, after 39k miles I got my very first CEL tonight.

Hopped in the car, started just fine. I put in drive and the CEL came on. The car sputtered and was idling at less than 1k when I stopped to check things under the hood.

When I looked and listened I noticed what seemed like the sound of air escaping from the area where the red arrow is pointing. More so from the connection between the gold thingy and the intake manifold . Of course the car will be taken to the dealer tomorrow to diagnose the problem but I wanted to see if my TSR buddies could help me first.

Thanks.

If your CEL is flashing then you have a misfire problem. I would start off replacing the spark plugs and inspecting the igniton wires and look for signs of voltage leak. It will look like white streaks on the hard plastic part of the ignition wires that go into the cylinder head. If there is slight dicoloration, blueish than I would recommend on replacing the complete wire set.
