My CEL came on 2 days ago so I went to have the codes pulled and it came back with nothing. I reset the battery, drove around for awhile, and it hasnt came back on yet. What would cause a CEL but no codes to show?

 

Nothing. If the car has a CEL it has a stored code. Don't be surprised if it comes back the 3rd or 4th time you drive it.

 

Did the place who you had pull the codes check for any pending codes? Sometimes the SES light goes on then off and so the ECU moves the code back to a Pending code if the problem is intermittent.
